Salesman Pete and the Amazing Stone From Outer Space.

Fantastic video. The animation is superb along with the graphics and story. You have to watch it a few times to really get a chance to notice many of the subtle details and moments. I sincerely hope that they do create another episode but I highly doubt that is on the horizon.

Why I quit and deleted Foursquare

Yep. Deleted. Gone, whoosh, ker-pow, finished. Why?

Simple. It didn’t quite, but was almost taking over my daily interactions. This is not really a big deal for me (something has to take up some time) it became down right obtrusive. Foursquare, and any other check-in social media for that matter, is an obsessive obtrusive use of time.

Our Creative Process/.01. Really cool video shown of what can sometimes be a simple process and what it looks like when a Pro does it. The final card + logo + everything turns out looking pretty good to boot!

Iron Baby by Strob. Nothing crazy “artsy” to talk about here, fun spoof video of Ironman but with a baby. Pretty well done except for a few spots here or there but definitely fun. Enjoy.

Bending bendy wood! An art that very few venture into, but worth the efforts if the results are going to be as classy as this Houdini chair number 4! The basic shape of this chair is created by first bending two-dimensional plywood by hand around a complexly milled solid wood ring to form the back. To make the curved two dimensional elements stay in place, the scale-like arrangement of the slabs is then glued to the base to produce the self-contained seat shell.

Great use of wood design in furniture infusing modern design and minimalism. Sharp, smooth edges allude to a chair of speed and, really, lack of comfort. You may only sit shortly in this chair and the styling resembles the nature of how you will probably sit in this chair: abruptly and short-lived. Nonetheless, still looks great as a fun barchair.
