This is a great combination of color, form, and texture. Part of what makes this style work and look great is the contrasting textural qualities of what looks like a silk/satin blouse in contrast to the smooth velvety of the model’s jacket & what looks like pants/skirt. The colors along with overall design don’t hurt it at all. I love how the outfit flows and plays together. A hint of retro throwback with a modern fitting and style. Well done Louis V.
What You Didn't Learn is the macro-micro blog that is tumblr for all the things you didn't learn. This is design oriented, related, relevant, material, coherent, cool, snazzy, hip, sometimes not hip, editorial, highly opinionated information that is true. It is, also however, none of those things...for the occasional momentous lapse that does happen.
